Art has been my constant companion since childhood—a sanctuary, a source of solace, and my most cherished form of self-expression. Despite struggling in other areas, art was my refuge, the one subject where I found both confidence and belonging. Throughout my schooling years, I pursued every opportunity to immerse myself in the world of creativity, seizing art awards and leadership roles with unwavering determination. Yet, societal expectations led me to believe that art was merely a hobby, not a viable career path, prompting me to set aside my passion after high school.

My journey took me through the corridors of higher education, where I initially pursued a degree in Fine Arts, only to find it stifling and restrictive. Disheartened but undeterred, I pivoted towards Theatre and Film, finding fulfillment in the creative process yet struggling to secure meaningful employment post-graduation. It was during this period of uncertainty that I found myself grappling with the harsh reality of societal norms dictating my career choices.

Seeking stability, I embarked on a new path, earning a degree in social work—a role that allowed me to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Immersed in the challenges of mental health advocacy, I found purpose but eventually succumbed to burnout, my own mental well-being suffering in the process. Throughout it all, art remained my steadfast companion, serving as both a personal refuge and a tool for healing. Plus that feeling within to pursue art full-time had never left me.

In the end it was the unwavering support of my partner, Jake, that finally emboldened me to pursue my true passion as a full-time artist. Since taking the leap, I've painted vibrant murals across Western Australia, sold my original artwork around the world, facilitated art-based therapy workshops, and embarked on a mission to empower aspiring artists to turn their passion into a sustainable career. Through workshops and coaching sessions, I aim to challenge the notion of art as merely a hobby, inspiring others to embrace their creativity and forge their own paths in the world of artistry.

"It was my pleasure to work with Aisha after we sought her services to complete a public art mural to improve the aesthetic at a local shopping precinct on Grand Promenade Bedford. Aisha demonstrated excellent communication skills, a clear understanding of the brief and took the time to assess and plan for the specific site specifications. She met our project timelines, bu and produced an excellent creative artwork which rejuvenated its location and has received incredible positive feedback from our community."
